Nkadi Foundation is a non-profit organisation.  It is registered with Companies and Intellectual Property Commission. Registration Number: 2021/750686/08.  It is also registered as a public benefit organisation in terms section 30(3)(b) of the Income Tax Act.

We render services in multiple fields ranging on committing into helping less fortunate communities in improving their lifestyle and building a safe and secure future for them, providing support to poor and vulnerable children in different schools and communities, and provide a body of information on curriculum and activities for aftercare programmes.

Nkadi Foundation operates in a wide variety of settings, from high-density townships, informal settlements in peri-urban areas to sparsely populated rural communities.

 

We engage the whole community to strengthen existing institutions and to build and support networks of all those organizations, members of the public and support systems that work in a given area. In the process we also identify and strengthen existing referral systems.

The Foundation has members, who were chosen on the strength of their intimate knowledge of and services to the target population. 

 

Since inception Nkadi Foundation strategic areas have included the following: -

 

• To give confidence to young learners knowing that they can walk to school in comfort, as opposed to barefoot.

• Though shoes alone do not solve problems they face, but it helps children build their self-esteem and give hope.

• Science has taught us that clothes we wear affect our behaviour, attitudes, personality, mood, confidence, and even the way we interact with others.

• Give our children hope & a better start through Nutrition, every little bit helps.
